Obtaining a Screen Name

To use any client with ChivaNet, you will first need a ChivaNet account (see https://sso.chivanet.org/register.cfm).

If you selected the Create an AIM screen name using this username check box when creating your ChivaNet account, you will have a screen name with the same username and password as your ChivaNet account.

If you did not select Create an AIM screen name using this username check box when creating your ChivaNet account, or if you wish to create more screen names, click the Register Screen Name link in the left-hand sidebar of the ChivaNet web site (or go to https://www.chivanet.org/aim/default.cfm#register), and follow the prompts.

Using Specific Clients
